We only collect what you type into this site. Specifically:

• Contact form. Your name, email address, and message, plus your company name and phone number if you choose to add them.
• Free download forms. Your name and email address, so we can send you the checklist or guide you asked for.
• Server logs. Like almost every website, our host records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to keep the site running and secure.

We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site, and we do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or payment details through these forms. Please don't send confidential employee information through the contact form; we'll set up a secure method once we're working together.

To reply to you, to send the free resource you requested, and — if you gave us your email through a download form — to send occasional HR and compliance updates. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

We use a small number of established services to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel hosts the website and keeps the server logs described above.
• MailerLite powers our free-download forms and sends our email updates. If you sign up, your name and email are stored there.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox as email.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here. Loading them tells Google your IP address, as it would on any site using them.
• Microsoft Bookings handles consultation scheduling. Our "Schedule a Consultation" buttons take you to Microsoft's site, where Microsoft's own privacy terms apply to whatever you enter there.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. If our business is ever sold or transferred, information could pass to the new owner.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. On a normal visit this site sets a single cookie, __vdpl, placed by our host, Vercel, to serve the site correctly. It expires when you close your browser.

On the two free-download pages, MailerLite's form software stores an identifier called ml_guid in your browser so it can recognize its own forms. When you submit a download form, we also store a short note in your browser — gs:lead-magnet — recording which resource you asked for, purely so the confirmation page can show the right message. It is deleted when you close the tab and never leaves your browser.

You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. The site will still work, though the download forms may not behave correctly.

Contact form emails stay in our email records so we have a history of our correspondence. Email subscribers stay in MailerLite until they unsubscribe or ask to be deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host as part of normal operations. If you'd like your information removed sooner, just ask.

Every marketing email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops those emails immediately. You can also email us at darlene@gratefulsynergies.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll honor those requests — you don't need to live in a particular state to ask.

This site is for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
